It is seldom that I use the same title for a blog as the studio concerned use themselves. Sometimes I am being lazy and I do, more often than not I would rather be original.
This time, neither is the case… I have stuck with Bend It For Beck as I needed to explore XLGirls reason for using such.
I am perplexed. My only real suspicion is the phrase is reminicent of Bend It Like Beckham, the football (soccer) movie from 2002.
The term refers to the goal-scoring machine that is David Beckham (bit of a tit; wife has a negative breast measurement) and his ability to curve a ball into the back of the net. The characters in the movie aspire to such.
