Excellent point! There are a number of busty models who are quite popular and successful despite not revealing their identity. There are some remarkably clever and creative ways of disguising one’s self without resorting to the “PhotoShop Blur” as well. For example, a turned head or evasive camera angle (as Vix so kindly demonstrates below) can work wonders for preserving anonymity whilst eliminating the distraction of touched-up photos:

    

However, whereas I see no problem in setting up a Playmate Site for an anonymous model, the application itself requires at least one clear face photo. This is needed for legal reasons in complying with the Title 18 Subchapter 2257 laws of maintaining records to prove the age and identity of a model. Thus, even if you and your wife set up a site on your own, such identification documentation would be required before you could secure a merchant account.

Bear in mind, though, that the sample photos that you upload via the Playmate Sites’ application form are strictly for our own use and would not become part of the content of your site. You would be the one who remains in total control of what appears on your site, and so that’s all up to you to decide.

As for the photography; yes, that is the model’s responsibility. I know we have a couple who hire a professional photographer for their shoots, but I’ve also found amateur style photography to be quite popular as well since it tends to convey the “realness” of the model far better than a polished studio production.

Very interesting post today, as just this morning my wife and I were again discussing our interest in her getting her own website up and running, but as usual, we’d always get no further than merely discussing it as we know it would be a hassle to set up.
So obviously all that you’ve outlined in today’s post sounds very appealing to us both.
There’s just one teeny tiny thing though – where you require a clear face-shot…
The ideal scenario we would be after would be for my wife to pose with her face either cropped out of shot or with her face blurred. Kinda like the shots on an earlier blog entry of yours here:

Two things about that:
1: I don’t know if you would even accept faceless women for your proposal, and
2: I don’t know how much the public would go for a faceless model.

With regards to point no. 2, I would *hope* that my wife’s great body would more than make up for her face not showing, as she has a great pair of FF’s, lovely big nipples, and is currently lactating, so we could appeal to that niche as well.

So, what are your thoughts on the whole faceless model idea…?

Oh, and one final thing – who would be responsible for taking the photos for the playmate’s site? Is that left up to the model to sort themselves?
