Karen Udders

Before I launch into today’s blog, I’d just like to give a shout to my mate Jim for mentioning me on his great British booblog “This Week in Tits“! If you’ve not visited the site yet, be sure to check out TWiT’s “norks-a-lordy” section for free hi-res big boobs wallpaper pics!

Now, on to the topic at hand…

What a difference a bra makes:

I received an inquiry the other day from one of MyBoobSite’s regulars who asked, “When you do an update soon (maybe one on Julia Miles?), could you detail the bra-size chart? D, DD, E, EE, F, H GG G is confusing with double letters and all that crap.”

Well, Jazz, I’ve done a bit more research, and have finally found a method of determining cup size that makes sense with none of that “take this measure, add 5 inches, and, if it’s odd, add another” and-so-on business! You simply start out wearing a bra with a comfortable band size and measure around the fullest part of the bust line. Then, you just use the difference in inches to get the cup size…

- If 1″ larger than bra size, then Cup Size is B
- If 2″ larger than bra size, then Cup Size is C
- If 3″ larger than bra size, then Cup Size is D
- If 4″ larger than bra size, then Cup Size is DD
- If 5″ larger than bra size, then Cup Size is DDD (or E)
- If 6″ larger than bra size, then Cup Size is F
- If 7″ larger than bra size, then Cup Size is FF
- If 8″ larger than bra size, then Cup Size is G
- If 9″ larger than bra size, then Cup Size is GG
- If 10″ larger than bra size, then Cup Size is H (and so on)

…granted, this would be a difficult proposition for someone like my wife, Vix, who just began wearing bras about 3 years ago – during her ascent from a DD-cup to an F-cup – and didn’t have one to start out with (tbh, she still goes braless most of the time anyway). Besides, I’d never really understood the part about wearing a bra to take the measurements. What if it’s too small? Wouldn’t that compromise the accuracy of the sizing?

Then I encountered Karen Udders and it all began to make sense. I mean, look at the difference in Karen’s breasts when she’s wearing a bra as opposed to going braless. Where would you measure if she didn’t have a bra on? Around her belly?! I suppose if she held them up, that might help a bit. Of course, then she’d need someone else to take the measurements for her (a position for which I’d gladly volunteer)… ;~)

Well, it seems there is a never ending assortment of cup charts. After poking around on several web sites of companies that sell brassieres and a very informative how to pick the perfect bra from Danni Ashe, this is what system shows up most often. I suppose it varies quite a bit depending on what country though.

Inches Cup or Cup or Cup
    1″ A
    2″ B
    3″ C
    4″ D
    5″ E or DD
6″ F or EE or DDD
7″ G or FF or EEE
8″ H or GG or FFF
9″ I or HH or GGG
10″ J or II or HHH
11″ K or JJ or III

The cup size is generally the same on a bra one band size larger with one cup size smaller. For example, the cups on a 38D will be approximately the same as the cups on a 40C.

Reese, I for one do not like your method of determining cup sizes. Measuring the rib cage just under the bust and adding 5” is an approximation used for a starting point. So, what is wrong with measuring your darling? Your method skips all the hands on part and with it goes all the fun. I would have thought you, of all people would opt for hands on measuring, particularly after having so much fun with the bra sizing tape measure.

Udderly magnificent! Karen is another one of Them. Them, you say? Yeah, judging from Reese’s recent blogs, he (mee too!) gets enamored over more than amply endowed _blondes_. Yeah, blondes. I just met with one this afternoon – a big, strapping blonde with a nice set of juggs. Too bad it was for business, not for pleaure. Oh, well..

Speaking of cup sizes.. My curiosity was aroused by the following information. I’ve mentioned some Japanese big bust models here recently, and I also said I noticed they were not as big busted, measurement-wise, compared to western women. I could see a marked difference in size between a Japanese J cup model’s boobs and a western J cup, which looked much bigger than the corresponding Japanese size. Well, the following URL seems to indicate that a Japanese J cup is the same as an English D cup. It’s the first time I’ve seen something that relates western and Japanese cup sizes. I’d like to find out more, since it’s always nice to know what size thiose titty bags really are. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marina_Matsushima

The thought occurred to me that the Japanese bra makers might use metric steps instead of inch steps. Say, instead of going up in increments of 1 inch (or approx 2.5cm), they instead used 1cm increments. But I have no way of knowing how their system works because I can’t read Japanese. I did use Babelfish on Reese’s web page to translate some Japanese script into somewhat understandable English. But it’s nothing like being able to read real Japanese. Anyway, here’s another interesting article. http://www.007b.com/breast_obsession.php

    Jimmy~

You’re most welcome! I found out about Karen through the same webmaster who discovered 36JJ Alicia. Honestly, he’s getting quite the knack for seeking out new talent!

I agree that a “hands on” approach is much more fun! :~D However, when faced with the more pendulous busty babes like Sarah Mercury, June Kelly or Serenity Davis, I have to wonder just how accurate that would be (the fullest part of the bust hanging down to the belly). I’d certainly be willing to try, though! ;~)

As for bra sizing, there seem to be so many diverse systems out there that it’s easy to get confused, especially with the apparent discrepancies I’ve encountered. I’d always relied upon the following chart for international conversions…

    http://www.breasttalk.co.uk/size_charts.asp

…as well as the bra size calculator on that same site (that’s who’d sent me the bra sizing tape measure, too!).

    Very Free~

It’s curious that a J-cup in Japan converts to a D-cup in Western measures. Even Continental Europe, who likewise use metric, remain very close to the cup sizes of the US & UK (as indicated in the conversion chart above). You theory of the Japanese using 1cm as their standard differential in cup sizes seems a plausable explanation, though.

Anyone know any more about this?

    Cheers,
    ~Reese! :~)

P.S. to VF: Shame about the blonde.

Here (France) the differential between each size is 5cm (ie: about 2 in).

  6. Reese Says:

    > Here (France) the differential between each size is 5cm (ie: about 2 in).

For the size breasts that I prefer (F-cup & up, that is), the 2″ differential between cup sizes holds true here in the UK as well, with double letters being used for the odd inches in between.

  7. Gigantor Says:

Ok I would greatly appreciate if you could do some sort of reference chart or give a link if possible.

    I.e 0-??” is A cup etc etc..
